Requirements

Due to the types of professionals, public safety, law enforcement, and otherwise “good guys” involved with the Templar Knights Motorcycle Club and the image we wish to employ; we have strict standards for our members.

Recruiting, membership, and promoting will be carried out without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, physical impairment, veteran status, political affiliation, or ethnic heritage. Memberships in any form or affiliations shall require a signed application and a completed agreement covering: Liability Release and Assumption of Risk, Indemnification, and Insurance Responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Must have valid drivers license – driving record must be submitted
  • Must have proper motorcycle endorsement
  • Motorcycle must be currently registered and street legal
  • Must present proof of proper insurance listing property to be used during events
  • Own a 500cc or larger motorcycle with an approved style
  • Complete and agree to club forms and obligations

Disqualifications:

  • Any Felony convictions
  • Convicted of any crime of violence in the last 5 years- not counting infractions
  • Not currently on parole or probation
    • If placed on probation after appointment, membership will be suspended until probation is completed and membership will be reviewed for re-appointment based on a council vote
  • At time of application, the applicant can not be under indictment of any kind, under investigation, or currently a defendant in any active criminal court case or sanctions
  • No current protective orders as a respondent
  • No convictions of domestic violence within the last 5 years, 10 years for any aggravated charges
  • Currently, or in the past, a member of or associated with any gangs or hate groups
  • Can not be involved in any anti-government activities or terrorism
  • Never dishonorably discharged from any military branch
